The Early Days

Having achieved a City and Guilds standard in Carpentry and Joinery, Jarrod became one of the few people to earn the title of Master Carpenter. Each year the Institute of Carpenters recognise one individual who shows a natural flair and eye for detail.

Honing His Craft

After site managing national hotel projects across the UK, and 4 self-builds, Jarrod moved into the bespoke staircase and custom-made furniture industry, working with leading manufacturers and training their fitting and installation teams. Frustrated with the increasingly modular approach, Jarrod and his wife Sherelle wanted to create a truly bespoke business.

Creating Jarrods

Jarrods specialises in the creation of bespoke staircases, always offering a highly professional and uniquely personal service. With a craftsman’s eye, Jarrod’s approach harkens back to the skills, abilities and customer service more associated with days gone by.

One Big Family

Jarrods is a family run, countrywide business. Our staff are both qualified and experienced, with Jarrod and Sherelle also remaining very ‘hands on’ within the company. The teams know each other very well and rely on each other’s expertise to make the very best of the business. Despite having several offices dotted around the UK, team meetings are often held around Jarrod and Sherelle’s own kitchen table.

Looking Ahead

Jarrod and Sherelle each take an active role within either the sale, design, creation or installation of every project. They also work on the research and development of new, creative solutions that push the boundaries of carpentry and design.
